Malaga Kundalini Yoga Retreat
Exploring the Inner Matrix
6th - 11th November 2016
November offers the space to work on the Inner Matrix becoming more aware of our true essence.
The reduced amount of light and the watery star sign of scorpio facilitate a deeper exploration of the mind’s patterns, and as a consequence the infinite repetition of situation that can rarely be seen or explained.
It is possible to expand our awareness of the Inner Matrix by looking within and having the courage to explore the vast creation that exists inside each and every one of us.
A very specific question has been at times in my mind going through life whilst learning to love and accept myself from within..
How the way I was delivered is influencing my emotional patterns and relationships now?
Even before we were in our physical form experiencing human consciousness, we existed as a formless energy, this energy gave us the ability to feel, to think, and to have sensation in the body.
At the moment of conception this pure energy entered the womb.
Although we were just molecules and cells coming into form, this chemistry embodied consciousness where a level of intelligence held the blueprint for who we were to become.
Once we were in the utero our mother’s world was our world. Because our physical was attached to our mother’s in this initial stage, we began to experience what she was experiencing through her patterns of vibrating energy. In this way, our mother’s experience shapes our own; these imprints construct lifelong emotional patterns that, then chart the course of our lives.
Becoming aware of this chart we will simulate and experience a sensation of rebirth, so that we can access to what we have not experienced and received during those 9 months.
The idea of rebirthing is to release the subconscious, the storehouse of misery. - Yogi Bhajan
Heal the pain and overcome the obstacles which keep you from living your best life-awakened, rejuvenated and present to your purpose.
Kundalini is considered the most comprehensive of yogas, combining meditation, chanting, physical practices and breathing exercises.
“Kundalini” literally means “the curl of the lock of hair of the beloved.”
This poetic metaphor alludes to the flow of energy and consciousness that exists within each of us, and enables us to merge with – or “yoke” – the universal Self.
Fusing individual and universal consciousness creates a divine union, called “yoga.”
The Upanishads, Hindu’s sacred scriptures that date back to the fifth century B.C., describe Kundalini, although the oral tradition reaches back even further into history.
For thousands of years, this sacred science and technology was veiled in secrecy, passed along verbally from master to chosen disciple.

She has also been a certified Reiki facilitator-healer since 2008.
Kundalini yoga has been the most powerful tool she has come across in her journey of self discovery through all the various disciplines she practiced and trained on, for the personal experience it gave her to inspire others in the same path.
Maitri has been volunteering at a rehab centre - “Crouston Oak Lodge” and “The Passage” - a charities for homeless where she share the teaching to help on recovering from addiction with alcohol and drugs.
Complementing her yoga practice, she also teach how to integrate Ayurvedic nutrition into her students daily lives to improve the functioning of the systems in the physical, mental and spiritual body.
It is her wish that every living being, young or old, experience using these tools to heal themselves and to celebrate the infinite potential and truth that lies within each of us.
