Yin Yoga Teacher Trainining Intensive
with Sarah & Torrey

4th - 11th December 2016

Join us for a 7-day teacher training intensive

Yin Yoga is a practice that opens the physical tissues of the body, centers the mind, deepens self awareness, and can be life changing. In this seven day training you will have the chance to deepen your own practice and understanding of Yin Yoga as you learn to safely and effectively share this practice with others.

Deepen your understanding

If you want to more deeply understand the practice of yin yoga, and be able to teach others, this is the training for you. This training will include extensive breakdown of the asanas, related anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy, Chinese medicine meridian system, adjustments, teaching methodology, and the subtle body.

Learn a different approach to teaching

This training is a wonderful addition to those with prior yoga teaching experience who want to add this style to their teaching repertoire. Teaching students this complementary approach to their bodies and minds is a deeply satisfying and joyful experience.

On the other hand, this training is also a good foundation or entry point for those with no prior teaching experience interested in sharing the practice of yoga with others.

After completion of this training, you will be ready to teach yin yoga classes.

Learn to hold space for others

You will learn how to teach with gentle confidence, allowing students to feel safe to deeply challenge their body/mind/spirit and explore their edges.

Dive deep

Besides learning to share this practice with others, you will immerse yourself in your practice and discover unexplored territory within yourself.

Torrey is a lover of nature and peaceful moments in life. She started on her yogic path while living in Colorado attending University. Since then she has continually sought out inspiring teachers to learn from to deepen her understanding of the practice. She first learned to teach Bikram yoga in 2008, and since then has been teaching and seeking out other trainings to expand her skills including training with Bernie Clark in 2009 in Yin yoga, northern California to learn how to share meditation and even Rishikesh India for more traditional Hatha yoga.

Besides teaching, Torrey has an incredible passion for her bodywork practice in Santa Barbara, California. She weaves together Rolfing Structural Integration, movement work, and visceral manipulation to help people find ease, awareness, and healing in their bodies. The knowledge she gained training in those modalities flows into her yoga teaching style and her way of seeing others.

Besides the serious stuff though, she has become recently obsessed with learning to surf. :) She also enjoys walking in nature, relaxing at home, knitting or creating other things with her hands.

On a mission to uncover the truth of existence; dedicated to perpetual learning and growth; Sarah's yoga journey began in a bikram yoga class 11 years ago... It has taken her around the world studying many facets of yoga from a variety of incredible teachers. Sarah completed her first of many yoga teacher trainings in yin yoga with Bernie Clark in 2009. Since then, she has taught all demographics of students; in San Francisco, Denver, India, Nepal, Bali, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, and Costa Rica. She is passionate about sharing her understanding to any and all who seek to learn.

Sarah bridges the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual elements of life together in each class; connecting the ancient teachings of yoga to their practical application in our everyday lives.

She has traveled through much of Asia, Central and South America, exploring different cultures' perspectives on life, spirituality and healing. She weaves these together seamlessly within her own life as well as in her teaching.

Her personal mission is to understand and embody unconditional love, sharing all that she has learned in a manner that is relatable and accessible to all.
