Patricia Villegas studied Psychology , a young science that as Yoga does, it tries to understand the mind and control the thoughts and emotions. Patricia is a student of Saraswati Jois in KPJAYI in Mysore, India. Her aim is come back every year to keep inspired and inspire others.

Nature Yoga Retreat in the South of Spain

Would you like to stay in the middle of the mountains in fully equipped charming rural homes? Come with us to the surrounding areas of El Gastor in Cádiz, the entrance to the Grazalema forest! According to BBC Travel, the best place to hike in Andalucia.

On our Hiking and Yoga Retreat, you'll practice different types of yoga during the day, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, with completely natural surroundings. You'll also enjoy daily relaxation exercises and guided meditations in our large yoga room fully equipped to offer you maximum comfort.

Along with hiking and yoga, 2 Pilates classes will be offered - Pilates is a lengthening and leaning exercise, very similar to yoga. For people who practice this incredible exercise, growing an inch or two is extremely common. Because of the core strength, breathing techniques, and range of motion you achieve with Pilates chronic back pain and other debilitating physical ailments decrease significantly. Pilates when done regularly is capable of creating an extremely new and exciting physical and mental well being.

After a huge release and detox on the mat, dive deep into Holistic Health and Veganism through film, recipes and more during Lacey's 2-day Vegan workshop! (Included in the program) With a live Q&A at the end of the workshop!

INFORMATION ABOUT THE HOUSE AND ITS SURROUNDINGS

The estate is 4 kilometers from the town El Gastor, known as the balcony of the The White Villages of Cádiz, due to it's altitude. The property is 250,000 square meters of land protected by automated security gates.
There are 5 clusters of small apartments or country homes that are separated from each other by large distances to ensure privacy. Each has it's own private pool with incredible views of the mountains.
There is a tennis court surrounded by trees and free parking at the homes. Yoga classes will be held in a spacious room with lots of light.

INFORMATION ABOUT ROOM AND BOARD

Apartments for two totally equipped with firewood chimneys, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens with microwave, conventional oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator, washing machine, and LED television. There´s free WiFi on all of the premises.
These apartments are ideal for two people. If you sign up as an individual, you can share with another visitor or have your own apartment for an extra 195€.

HATHA AND VINYASA YOGA.

On this retreat you'll be able to practice two different styles of yoga. In the morning we'll start the day with Hatha Yoga and Pranayama, breathing exercises. We'll work on all aspects of yoga: balance, strength and flexibility. In the evening you'll be able to participate in our Vinyasa Yoga class to completely relax and we'll finish the 30-minute session with guided meditation and relaxation. We'll also provide a yoga nidra session where we'll aim to achieve a deep yogic sleep.

WHAT TO DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?

On the outskirts of El Gastor you'll be able to enjoy various hiking trails from very beginning to the most advanced levels. You can choose from hiking trails that last a few hours to all-day trails. For the more advanced hiker, we recommend the Garganta Verde, a precious route starting from Zahara right on the Grazalema nature reserve.
If you prefer bike riding, the Vía Verde de la Sierra, is one of the best trails in Europe from which you can enjoy some of the best bird sight-seeing on the continent.
You can also enjoy beautiful horseback riding trails. If you are a real adventurer, you can participate in mountain climbing, canyoning, rappelling, kayaking, aerodelta and more.

FAQs

Are activities included in the yoga retreat? Activities are paid separate, this way you can choose the ones you prefer. Once you arrive, we'll reserve your favorite activities for you.

How can I get to the yoga retreat? The best option is to rent a car from the airport for your entire stay. It´s cheaper than a taxi and that way you can enjoy the freedom of transportation every day on the retreat.

I need a special diet, can you provide it? Of course! As long as you let us know before your arrival, we can prepare the diet you need. For example, if you are gluten intolerant, vegan, or have any other special diet needs.

Are cancellations allowed? You can cancel your reservation up to 60 days before the retreat. If you cancel after the allotted time period you'll lose the deposit or you can transfer it to another guest.

What should I bring? Bring comfortable clothing for practicing yoga, a swimsuit, beach towel, sunscreen, and a yoga mat although we provide all yoga materials.

1 Booking:
(A) Your payment is refundable up to 60 days before the start date of yoga retreat. After that date the course can be changed by another course or person according to our availability and discretion.Cancellation charges are detailed in terms and conditions, paragraph 7.
(B) The reservation will not be considered effective until we confirm via email that we have received the deposit payment set correctly.
2 Payment:

More About Lacey Daunt with Lucia Yoga Retreat in Spain

Lacey Daunt was born and raised in a small quaint town on the eastern most tip of Long Island; Montauk. Living within a 5 minute walk from the ocean stemmed her irresistible love for the water (Surfing, free-diving and swimming are among some of her favorite water sports.) The cold winters in Montauk ultimately forced her away to a more tropical paradise; Hawaii.

Currently, she resides on the small island of Oahu. Being surrounded by fresh fruits and vegetables that are grown locally makes her vegan fruit-loving lifestyle simple. Lacey is extremely passionate about consuming a plant based diet without the use of any animal products. She spends her time running a blog intended to educate others on food and lifestyle choices and how they affect our health, other beings and our planet.

Along with the ocean and mother nature, Lacey had always had a love for holistic healing, energy and exercise. In 2012, she went through intensive training to become a certified Pilates instructor via Power Pilates, NYC. In 2013, she attended the largest holistic nutrition school in the country, Institute for Integrative nutrition, where she was taught over hundreds of dietary theories and life methods. During this time she worked alongside QRA (Quantum Reflex Analysis) Practitioner Karen Panish where they tested the human body non-invasively using energy and organ frequencies to detect weakness' in the body. Lacey also worked as a nutritionist for the company MINDBODY during a three month wellness challenge for employees where she guided them to find their personal path to ultimate healing. With her Health Coaching degree, experience in the health field and Pilates certification she began taking on clients personally and globally via e-mail.

I would like to work with Lucia Yoga Retreats because I aspire to spread the message of yoga throughout the globe. The message that moving freely with ones breath is what life is all about. The mind/body connection developed through yoga is useful in all areas of ones life.

Lacey Daunt

One year later, she decided to follow her passions on another healing journey to Bali, Indonesia to become a certified yoga instructor. During this course, she was taught the true foundation of yoga that extends beyond the physical practice. She developed an understanding of the mind-body connection, meditation and enlightenment - a learning journey that made the trip a life-changing experience. After completing her 200 hour YTT in Bali, she returned back to her home in Hawaii. Lacey has now added yoga to her healing practice. She teaches all classes from static yin, to hatha, to fast paced vinyasa flows. She specializes in private lessons by creating personal sequences for individuals. Lacey has always held bio-individuality - the concept that every person is uniquely different - above all. She personalizes her 1:1 health coaching, pilates lessons and yoga lessons to fit the individual at hand. Lacey primarily bases her practice in Hawaii, but travels back to New York to teach in the summers.
